Date Officially Announced For John Cena’s Final Match
August 20, 2025John Cena will retire on Peacock.
We have known for over a year now that John Cena will have his final match in December of 2025. There have been conflicting reports regarding when in December the match will take place, and now it has been confirmed.
On Wednesday, NBC Sports announced that they have reached a new deal with WWE to stream all Saturday Night’s Main Event shows exclusively on Peacock. This will essentially remove the show from airing on NBC. In the press release, they noted how one of the upcoming SNME events will take place on December 13 and feature John Cena’s retirement match. No word has been announced on where this show will take place.
