Date & Location Revealed For John Cena’s Final Match
May 10, 2025The fans were correct regarding Cena’s last match.
Almost a year ago, John Cena revealed that 2025 will be his final year as a full-time WWE in-ring wrestler. He has since revealed that this year he will work roughly 36 dates with the company as he embarks on a farewell tour, wrapping up in December. Now we have new details on the end of Cena’s farewell tour.
WCVB ABC5 in Boston did a 5-minute piece about pro wrestling in New England that featured John Cena’s father, and at the very end of it, it cut back to the two anchors in the studio, where one would note how John Cena will have his final match this December at the TD Garden in Boston. This is something fans have been speculating since we learned of the farewell tour. The interesting thing is the piece originally aired back on April 24th, but did not hit social media till Saturday.
John Cena’s last match taking place in Boston makes the most sense, and the 17-time World Champion is from West Newbury, Massachusetts, which is less than an hour away.
Now WWE has yet to announce a December show from the TD Garden, let alone John Cena’s final match being on that show, and it is unclear where the anchor got this information from. The other question is what type of show will this be? Will it be a RAW, Smackdown, Saturday Night’s Main Event, or a premium live event?
If we do hear anything further on John Cena’s final match being from the T Garden in December, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
