Daniel Bryan Not Part Of WWE & New Japan Talks Recently, Latest On Talks

It looks more and more Daniel Bryan is gone from WWE.

It has been reported that WWE has reached out about working with New Japan Pro Wrestling. One thing said about these talks were it started when Daniel Bryan’s contract was coming up and he wanted to possibly remain with WWE and work with New Japan. Yet recently it looks like with Bryan gone from WWE has not been part of the talks.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer, Meltzer reported that Bryan Danielson was a talking point early on in the talks between WWE and New Japan, yet as of late he has not been mention in those talks. The report also says that yes, WWE President Nick Khan has been the “point man” in these talks but they were not his idea in the beginning. Yet once the idea did get to Khan, it was said he took it to Vince McMahon and the idea was never to do this to screw AEW out of their relationship with NJPW.
