In 2024 we have seen a number of wrestlers no longer with WWE after their deals expire. yet we have also seen a number of Superstars sign new deals with that company. On that note, a current World Champion with WWE is close to finalizing a new deal with the company.
According to a new report from Fightful, they report that current World Heavyweight Champion Gunther is close to signing a new deal with WWE. WWE sources claimed on December 2nd that the two sides were close to finalizing a new contract. One source noted that the deal is a long-term, multi-year deal and the company is thrilled with Gunther’s in-ring performance and media obligations. A higher-up in the company referred to Gunther as one of the most professional talents they have ever worked with. PWInsider was also able to confirm the same information on the new deal as well.
