Current Reported Plans For The WrestleMania Battle Royals

We may not get two battle royals at WrestleMania.

Since WrestleMania 30 we have had the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal every year except for in 2020. Cesaro won the first one and last year Jey Uso won the last. The Women’s WrestleMania Battle Royal took place in 2018 and 2019 with Naomi and Carmella winning. Now we have some details on those matches taking place this year.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Observer Newsletter, Meltzer reported that as of right now the Men’s Battle Roya is not slated to take place on either night of WrestleMania 38. As of right now, the word is that it will either take place on the March 28 RAW or the April 1 Smackdown. As far as the Women’s Battle Royal, that is listed to take place on one of the two WrestleMania Cards.

Many feel that these matches would be perfect matches for the WrestleMania Kickoff show. You can run one match on night one and the other on night two. These matches are the perfect ways to make sure members on the roster, not in a match can still actually say they worked WrestleMania.
