Clarification On Speedball Mike Bailey’s TNA Contract Status
November 19, 2024Speedball may not be done with TNA yet.
On Monday word came out that “Speedball” Mike Bailey’s contract with TNA expired on November 1st. With that the report from PWInsider noted how some in TNA believed he could debut for the company in the Continental Classic. Now it seems that that report was not correct.
On Tuesday Mike Jonson of PWInsider put out an update to his earlier report noting how what he reported on Monday was not correct. he stated that in speaking to additional sources, Bailey was not being figured into the Continental Classic this year. Johnson stated that Bailey’s contract with TNA did expire on November 1. Yet Fightful is disputing that.
According to a report from Fightful, they note how Bailey’s contract with TNA goes till the end of the year. That would mean for a fact he would not be able to compete in the Continental Classic that kicks off next week and ends at the December 28 Worlds End event. Fightful did note how the November 1 date is when Bailey was allowed to start talking to other companies if he was interested in leaving TNA. That does seem to be the case as the working plan is for him to eventually end up in All Elite Wrestling.
If we do hear anything further on “Speedball” Mike Bailey’s future, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
