City Of Tampa Releases Statement On WrestleMania Being Moved & Refunds

Refunds will be given for those who bought tickets to WrestleMania.

Monday WWE moved WrestleMania from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. Many have asked what happens to the tens of thousands who bought tickets to the show.

The City of Tampa on Tuesday released a statement regard WrestleMania being moved from their city and regarding refunds.

-Ticketmaster.com will be issuing refunds within the next 30 days.

-If you purchased tickets at the box office in Tampa, you can receive a refund when that box office officially opens for business again.

-If you purchased from anywhere else, you should contact that third-party directly,

The Tampa Bay Local Organizing Committee issued the following statement:

“Our community has waited 36 years to host WrestleMania and while we are saddened that this unforeseen situation has led us to today’s announcement, this is totally the right call for the security and safety of everyone involved. A huge thank you to all our local leaders and our friends at WWE, as we collectively worked through the unprecedented fluidity of the last few weeks. The Tampa Bay-WWE partnership has never been stronger.”
