Changes Made To Tonight’s Bash At The Beach, Tournament Announced
January 15, 2020AEW has announced so slight changes to tonight’s show.
Originally for tonight’s show, there was supposed to be a tag team match where Kris Statlanders teamed up with Hikaru Shida to take on Awesome Kong and Mel with Brandi Rhodes in their corner. This afternoon AEW announced that Awesome Kong is not medically clear to compete due to an illness and will be replaced by Brandi Rhodes.

Also tonight a mini-tournament has been announced to crown the number one contender to Chris Jericho and the AEW World Championship. The matches between PAC and Darby Allin, as well as Sammy Guevara and Jon Moxley, will now serve as first-round matches. The winners of these two matches will then square off next week on the Jericho Cruise in a number one contenders match.
