Championship Vacated On Tuesday’s NXT

Championship Vacated On Tuesday’s NXT

April 1, 2025 Off By Tim Jarrell

A title was vacated on NXT.

A few week’s back when NXT ran from the Theater in Madison Square Garden we saw a champion vs champion match. This match saw Stephanie Vaquer defeat Giulia to become the new NXT Women’s Champion while retaining her North American Championship. yet Vquer is no longer a double champion.

On Tuesday’s NXT we saw General Manager Ava and Stephanie Vaquer in the ring together. Ava would go on to talk about Stephanie being a double champion but because of that it puts limitations on when the title can be defended. Because of that Vaquer will be giving up the North American Title so both titles can be defended more frequently and Vaquer would not have to work multiple matches in a single night. Ava would then announce that a new champion would be crowned in a six-women ladder match at Stand & Deliver.

Vaquer would go on to state that she really did not want to vacate the title but knew it was what was best for the division. She noted how in her short time in WWE, she has been given multiple opportunities, and she wanted another women in the back to get one as well. When handing the title to Ava, Vaquer stated that the only way she will agree to vacate the title is if at Stand & Deliver, she gets to handpick who she defends the NXT Women’s Champion against. Vquer has yet to name said opponent.

In the end this segment would set up two matches for the Stand & Deliver PLE on April 19th in Las Vegas. If we do hear anything more on Stand & Deliver, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
