Championship Match Set To Open Monday’s RAW

Championship Match Set To Open Monday’s RAW

August 2, 2020 18 By Tim Jarrell

This Monday we will find out who the real champ is on RAW.

Back before Extreme Rules MVP created his own United States  Championship even though Apollo Crews was already the US Champion. Then at Extreme Rules, the US Title match never took place when Crews was “unable to compete” on the show. Since then we have not seen Crews and the VIP Louge host MVP has been calling himself the real United States Champion.

Today WWE has announced that kicking off Monday’s RAW we will find out who the United States Champion is when Apollo Crews and MVP battle over the United States Title.

Will the real United States Champion please stand up?

Apollo Crews and MVP will settle that question to kick off this Monday night’s Raw as they battle for the United States Title.

The storied prize has been clouded in controversy lately. Crews was originally set to defend the Championship against MVP at The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules, but wasn’t cleared to compete as a result of Bobby Lashley’s attack.

As a result, MVP declared himself the new Champion, even unveiling a new title.

With Crews ready to go — and likely fed up with the braggadocious MVP’s antics in recent weeks — can he finally silence his boisterous rival? Or will MVP solidify his claim to the gold?

So far this has been the only match announced for this Monday’s RAW. If we hear anything else regarding tomorrow’s red branded show we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
