Championship Match Announced For Next Week’s Smackdown
January 1, 2021Big E’s first title defense is set.
Tonight on Friday Night Smackdown we saw Big e taking on King Corbin. The match ended in a DQ when Sami Zayn interfered and then Apollo Crews would make the save leading to a tag team match. Big E would team with Crew to defeat the team of Corbin and Zayn with Crews pinning Zayn.
After the match in the back, Big E stated that he will hold an open challenge next week with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. Crews then stated that Big E can end that right now as he has accepted the open challenge and the match was officially announced. Next week on Smackdown Big E will defend the IC Title against Apollo Crews.
