Championship Match Added To This Week’s AEW Dynamite
October 27, 2020A new champion will defend their title tomorrow night.
Tomorrow night’s AEW Dynamite already has a number of big matches announced like the second round of the Eliminator Tournament and more. Tonight a championship was announced for tomorrow night’s episode of Dynamite.
AEW President Tony Khan announced tonight that the new NWA Women’s World Champion Serene Deeb will defend her title tomorrow night against Leyla Hirsch. Deeb won the title tonight from Thunder Rosa on the UWN PrimeTime Live show. This will mark Deeb’s defense of the title just 24-hours after winning it.
Congratulations to the new @nwa Women’s World Champion @SerenaDeeb! She’ll make her 1st title defense v. @LegitLeyla on #AEWDynamite tomorrow night, Wednesday on TNT at 8pm ET/7pm CT on a huge show with several big matches on the card! The odd thing about this match being announced tonight is that it was not included in the spoilers that leaked out from last week’s tapings. Tomorrow’s episode of Dynamite will not be live and was actually filmed last Thursday. When the spoilers leaked and were said to be “full show spoilers” any mention whatsoever of this match taking place was omitted. If this match was filmed last week at the tapings, that means that Deeb had the title in her possession a week before she even won it from Thunder Rosa as AEW talent fly into Jacksonville on Tuesdays before the week’s tapings.
