Carmelo Hayes Opponent Revealed For Friday’s Smackdown

Hayes is facing a monster on Smackdown

Last week on Friday Night Smackdown there was a segment with Nick Aldis and Carmelo Hayes where the teased Hayes moving to RAW in the Transfer Window. Aldis then told Hayes he has a special opponent for him next week. Wee’s social media teased it being someone new to Smackdown and we now know who it is.

Chris Featherstone was asked on Twitter if he knew who Hayes would be facing Friday on Smackdown. He would then reveal that Hayes will be facing Braun Strowman on the show. This fits in with the tease of Hayes facing someone new to Smackdown as the last time we saw Strowman he was on RAW feeding with Bronson Reed.

Braun Strowman was last seen on television when he faced Bronson Reed in the Last Monster Standing match on the September 30th RAW. Strowman won the match with help from Seth Rollins. Since then Strowman has only worked one match as it was a dark match at the November 15th Smackdown tapings where he teamed with the LWO to defeat The Judgement Day.
