*Update* WWE Announced Multiple Releases, Eight Superstars & Nine Producers

More releases have been made within NXT as NXT wrestler MJ Jenkins has been released. Also, WWE has released Josiah Williams, Williams stated his status with the company up in the air and he hopes to return.

WWE has officially announced that Rusev has been released from the company.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has reported that NXT Superstar Deonna Purazzo has been released from the company.

WWE has updated their list of released superstars as now we have Kurt Angle, Aiden English, Eric Rowan, Sarah Logan, Mike and Maria Kanellis, Primo and Epico, and referee Mike Chioda

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider WWE has released nine backstage producers. The names reported are illy Kidman, Mike Rotunda, Dave Finlay, Pat Buck, Shawn Daivari, Scott Armstrong, Sarah Stock, Shane Helms, and Lance Storm

After the first 5 WWE superstar releases were announced, WWE announced three more superstars who have been released in Luke Gallows, Heath Slater, and Eric Young.

WWE announced cut backs and we have seen the first round.

Earlier today WWE announced that they will have to make some cut back in the company with board members and executives taking pay cuts. Some will be furloughed and roster members could be released. The first wave of cuts is now here.

On Wednesday WWE announced that they have released Draker Maverick, Curt Hawkins, Karl Anderson, EC3, and Lio Rush.

WWE has come to terms on the release of Drake Maverick (James Curtin), Curt Hawkins (Brian Myers), Karl Anderson (Chad Allegra), EC3 (Michael Hutter) and Lio Rush (Lionel Green). We wish them all the best in their future endeavors

It sucks that any of these men have been released from the company. Drake Maverick was just announced a few days ago for the upcoming Interim Criuserweight Championship Tournament so that was a little of a surprise. EC3 and Hawkins have both not been used that well, and they have been hot and cold on Lio Rush.

The biggest surprise of all is Karl Anderson as he has been part of one of the biggest acts on Monday Night RAW in The O.C.
