BREAKING NEWS: Title Change Takes Place On Smackdown
January 31, 2020Tonight a first-time champion was crowned.
Tonight’s Smackdown came to us from Tulsa, Oklahoma and we knew of a number of things for the show going into it. One of those things was Braun Strowman challenging Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Championship. With that challenge, Strowman was successful in becoming the new champion.
As we stated Strowman defeated Nakamura to become the new champion but it did not come easy. The Monster Among Men was almost at a three-on-one disadvantage as both Sami Zayn and Cesaro were at ringside and made their presence felt. In the end, Strowman caught Nakamura with a huge powerslam to become the new Intercontinental Champion.
Stretch it out, @ShinsukeN.
