BREAKING NEWS: Renee Young Reportedly Leaving WWE

One of WWE’s best on-air personalities is leaving soon.

Word going around right now is that longtime WWE broadcaster Renee Young is set to leave the WWE. It is unclear when she will leave the company but she reportedly made the decision not long ago.

First reported by Outkick.com they state that Renee Young is expected to leave the WWE soon. Young is still set to work the SummerSlam weekend this weekend but after that is unclear. Both Mike Johnson of PWInsider and Alex McCarthy of talkSport have also confirmed this story. McCarthy goes on to state that Young may have given her notice to the company last week according to multiple sources.

Again it is unclear when Young’s final day with the company will be and if she has to wait out a contract or not. We do not know if she is on a contract like the wrestlers in the company or if because she is just a broadcaster she can leave when she wants like a normal employee giving their notice.

At this time it is also not known what may have motivated Young to finally want to leave the WWE. Many have stated that they were shocked she stayed with the company for as long as she did after her husband Jon Moxley departed in the Spring of 2019. Over the last year, Young has not only worked for WWE but has also worked as a host for FOX reportedly under a deal separate from her WWE contract. It is also a mystery if Young is going to want to continue to work within pro wrestling or if she may want to move on to something else.

Renee Young nor WWE has yet to comment on this news since it broke early Wednesday morning.
