BREAKING NEWS: John Cena To Appear On Upcoming Smackdown In Boston
February 11, 2020The 16-time champ is back.
Coming up on February 27th is WWE Super Showdown from Saudi Arabia. Last time they had a show in Saudi Arabia the night before a Smackdown most of the talent did not make it back in time for the show. Now it looks like they may have a plan in place in case that happens again.
Tonight on WWE Backstage Renee Young announced that 16-time World Champion John Cena will be appearing on the February 28th edition of Friday Night Smackdown in Boston, Mass. This will mark the first time Cena has appeared on WWE programming in 2020 and his first appearance since the RAW Reunion last July.

Cena has stated in recent interviews that his schedule is free and he would like to be part of this year’s WrestleMania. It is unclear if his upcoming appearance on Smackdown could set up something for Mania or if this is just a precaution in case there is another issue getting talent back to the states in time for Smackdown.
If we do hear anything further on John Cena appearing on Smackdown in Boston in just a few weeks we will keep you updated.
