**UPDATE** Former New Japan Champion Signs With AEW
February 26, 2020AEW has signed a former US Champion.
Over the first year of All Elite Wrestling, they procured a pretty good roster with a lot of well known and newcomers in the world of pro wrestling. Today they announced the signing of a wrestler that had been rumored to sign with AEW.
Today All Elite Wrestling announced that they have signed former IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Lance Archer. Archer signing with AEW has been rumored for several weeks but it did not seem a lock until today’s announcement. Archer last wrestled for New Japan Pro Wrestling on February 1st in a match against Jeff Cobb.

Lancer Archer has wrestled for national wrestling companies in America before with both WWE and TNA in the past.
It was not said when Archer will debut for AEW, whether that is tonight on Dynamite, this weekend at Revolution or sometime in the future.
