BREAKING NEWS: First Match Officially Announced For Elimination Chamber
February 17, 2020Six women will battle in the chamber.
Over the past few years, WWE has used the Elimination Chamber to set up a championship challenger for WrestleMania and this year is no different. Last week, we saw an advertisement revealing that the men of Smackdown will battle inside the chamber for a shot at the Univeral Title. Now we know the Women of RAW will also battle in the chamber.
First reported by The Warp, it was announced that Shayna Baszler, Asuka, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Natalya, and Sarah Logan will all battle inside the Elimination Chamber. The winner will move on and face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania for the RAW Women’s Championship.
It had been reported over the last month or so that Baszler would be the one to challenge Lynch at WrestleMania. Then after their segment last week on RAW that all but confirms that Baszler should be the one to walk out the chamber Lynch’s challenger.
Elimination Chamber comes to us on March 8th from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia live on the WWE Network.
