BREAKING NEWS: Current NXT Champion Reportedly Released By WWE

One champion in NXT has been let go.

Over the last week, we have seen a lot of posts from Kimber Lee making a number of claims and accusations about her former husband Nash Carter. There have been a number of posts about abuse, the way he acts in his personal life, and more. We have heard that the two were getting a divorce and Carter had been staying with his tag team partner Wes Lee. Now we do not know if any of what Kimber Lee led to this, yet WWE has released Carter.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Sapp reported that WWE has released Nash Carter. he got a phone call while doing a live podcast telling him the news. Sapp what then shortly after able to confirm the release with WWE themselves.

Carter just won back the NXT Tag Team Champions this past weekend at Stand & Deliver with his MSK tag team partner Wes Lee. Carter was even on NXT 2.0 last night as well in a backstage interview segment about the tag team championships and what could be next for MSK as the champions.
