BREAKING NEWS: All Elite Wrestling Signs Paul Wight, fka The Big Show

Big Show is all elite.

AEW has signed a number of former World Champions to the company and the latest is Paul White, formerly known as The Big Show in WWE and The Giant in WCW. AEW announced Wednesday morning that they have signed Wight to the company and he will start out working in a commentary role on a new AEW YouTube show entitled AEW Dark: Elevation.

Wight signing with the company does come as a big surprise to many and wight stated the following on joining the AEW team,

It’s been amazing to watch what AEW has built in just a couple of years,” said Paul Wight.  “AEW Dark is an incredible platform to hone the skills of up-and-coming wrestlers, but I also  love that established AEW talent can build out their personalities and showcase themselves in  new ways on Dark. It’s no exaggeration when they say that AEW is boundless.”  

As far as the signing of Wight and the new YouTube show he will be working on, it looks like more information on that will come tonight on Dynamite. AEW stated in a press release that more info on Wight’s signing, AEW Dark: Elevation and who will be Wight’s commentary partner will be announced tonight on Dynamite.
