Braun Strowman Reveals Infection In His Bloodstream
February 11, 2021Strowman had a setback this past weekend.
After Survivor Series we saw Braun Strowman written off TV as he was dealing with a knee injury. We saw Strowman return on the Smackdown before the Royal Rumble and compete in the Rumble, but we have not seen him since.
Today, Braun Strowman took to Instagram and posted an Instagram Story stating that this past weekend he got sick. With that, he ended up contracting an infection in his bloodstream.
“So, a little update. I’ve been gone for a bit. I’ve been really sick over the weekend. I got really sick. I got an infection that got into my blood system and I had to be put on antibiotics for that. It was awful. I’ve dropped like 15 pounds in 5 days. I couldn’t eat and all that. It looks like there’s 50 pounds of water weight on my joints, they’re all swollen and inflamed. The antibiotics are working and I’m getting better. Gonna get back to training and get that mask back on and I’ll be seeing you very soon.”
It is good to hear that even though getting sick, Strowman is already on the road to recovery and getting better. It is not known how much longer this will keep Strowman off television.
