Big Update Regarding SummerSlam Location
August 12, 2020SummerSlam will be taking somewhere in Florida.
There have been many rumors and reports over the last few weeks regarding where SummerSlam will take place this year. Some had said it was gonna take place in the northeast, with some even specifying possibly Atlantic City. It is now being reported that Atlantic City is now longer in the cards.
According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that the idea of SummerSlam taking place in Atlantic City has been dropped. He goes on to state that SummerSlam will take place somewhere is the state of Florida.
WrestleVotes on Twitter also had a SummerSlam update today with a few new notes on the location. They stated that it will not take place in the Performance Center and fans will not be in attendance. They also state that running in the northeast is iffy at best.
Good news, Bad news:
SummerSlam will not take place in the PC.
However, no fans will be in attendance.
Source still unsure on exact location, as the northeast possibility is now said to be iffy at best.

The 2020 edition of SummerSlam comes to us on August 23rd and now it looks more possible that it will not come to us from the WWE Performance Center. If we hear anything else leading up to SummerSlam, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
