Big Update On Ronda Rousey Being “Suspended” By WWE

Ronda is not gonna be gone for long.

On Monday WWE announced that they had fined and suspended Ronda Rousey for her actions at SummerSlam. After the Smackdown Women’s Title match Rousey attacked the referee and that is where the punishment came from. Now we have some news on how long Rousey’s suspension may actually be.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Meltzer noted how Ronda Rousey is booked for the upcoming Clash at the Castle show in Cardiff, Wales. If Rousey is supposed to work the Cardiff show on September 3rd, then that means her suspension will not be long.

It is unclear what Rousey could be doing at Clash at the Castle, but based on the SummerSlam finish we may have an idea. Since there was a big dispute about how the Smackdown Women’s Title ended, that could set up another meeting between Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey for the title.
