Big Update On Edge’s Possible Return To The Ring & New Contract

Is the Rated R Superstar rumble bound?

For the past six months or so we have heard many rumors that WWE Hall of Famer Edge is looking to get back into the ring. He came out and speared Elias at SummerSlam and no one knows what that was supposed to mean. Was that a tease of what’s to come or was that only because that was in Canada. Also, right after the rumor’s of Edge wanting to return really started to ramp up it was reported that he was spotting in Pittsburgh where WWE’s main physician is located.

Today, Mike Johnson of PWinsider stated that Edge is likely as a surprise in the 2020 Royal Rumble. He also did state that Edge has actually signed a new contract with the WWE. With Edge signing a new contract with the company and talk behind the scenes is that many do expect him back in a wrestling capacity in some route.

Edge did take to social media recently to deny the rumors of a comeback. If he is working on a comeback, why wouldn’t he deny this to not risk the surprise of his return not being a surprise. If Edge is going to be a surprise in the 2020 Royal Rumble we have just a little over a month till the event and we would hear more on this as we creep closer.
