Big Update On Andrade After Getting WWE Release, No-Non Compete Clause & More
March 22, 2021Andrade looks to have gotten a good release.
Last night after WWE Fastlane WWE announced that they have come to terms on a release for Andrade. Andrade himself teased earlier in the day that good news was coming. This morning Andrade thanked Triple H, Paul Heyman, and William Regal for supporting him during his time in WWE. Now we have some new interesting information regarding Andrade’s release.
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Meltzer reports that Andrade does not have a 90-day no-compete attached to his release from WWE. That means Andrade can start taking booking immediately with any companies.
Another thing we know is that he can use the name “Andrade” outside of WWE but not the “Cien Almas” part he used in NXT. The reason he can use Andrade is that his real name is Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza. Many who know him call him Manny Andrade so unless he goes back to La Sombre maybe he goes by the Manny Andrade name.
If we do hear anything else regarding Andrade’s release and future, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
