Big Return Set For As Early As Tomorrow’s Raw

One anticipated return could happen tomorrow night.

Going into 2022 many people started asking about when certain wrestlers in WWE that were injured in 2021 could make their return. We heard things about possibly Royal Rumble or WrestleMania and no one out with an injury returned. People continued to ask about Bayley and Asuka specifically and now we have some info about the latter.

According to Sean Ross Rapp of Fightful, Sapp reports that Asuka is planned to return imminently and could as soon as tomorrow night’s RAW. The reports state that when Asuka returns she is slated for a short-term program with former RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Lynch is set to be on RAW tomorrow night making her first televised appearance since WrestleMania. As far as Asuka being on RAW tomorrow with Lynch was stated as “tentative” plans going around as of this weekend.

The report goes on to state that numerous pitches from creative and talent have been made pertaining to the return of Asuka. Many started asking at the start of the year if she would be ready for the Rumble or not and that ultimately did not materialize. It was stated that those questions were shot down quickly as Asuka was not ready back in January.

Asuka has not worked a match for WWE since last year’s Money In The Bank event. The word was she had been out since then with some sort of a shoulder injury that most really had no information about.
