Big Number On Contender’s Match Being Announced For Next Week’s NXT

20- Women will battle next week.

Last night we saw Mandy Rose successfully defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez. Now that did come after Cora Jade attacked Perez with her NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship. Rose has defeated a number of different women in her 250-plus days as the champion and now it is time to find a new challenger.

WWE announced on Wednesday that next week on NXT, they will hold a 20-women battle royal to find the next challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship.

For over 250 days Mandy Rose has reigned supreme as the NXT Women’s Champion, defeating the likes of Indi Hartwell, Cora Jade, Wendy Choo, Alba Fyre and Io Shirai.

After Rose’s recent victory over Roxanne Perez, NXT will hold a 20-Woman Battle Royal to determine the next contender for Rose’s title.

Who will emerge from the chaos with opportunity at the NXT Women’s Championship?

When looking at who is on the NXT roster, the one name that does stand out that not only could challenge Rose but also defeat her for the title is Nikita Lyons. No names have been announced for the match and it will be interesting to see what 20 women will be featured in this match.
