Big AEW Match Moved From Next Week
June 4, 2021Jungle Boy will have to wait another week for his title shot.
Last weekend at AEW Double Or Nothing we saw Jungle Boy win the Casino Battle Royale and earn an AEW World Title shot. It was then announced that the title match would take place on Friday, June 11th, yet that has been changed.
Tony Khan announced this morning on Busted Open Radio that the title match between Kenny Omega and Jungle Boy has been moved to Saturday, June 26th. No real reason was given for the change and why the match can not take place next week.
Right now AEW has been bumped off of Wednesday night in favor of the NBA Playoffs. Like last week, tonight and next week will air on Friday and then the following two weeks will air on Saturday nights.
