Big AEW Dynamite Show To Air Against Smackdown Next Month

The NBA will make an important Dynamite move off Wednesdays.

AEW Dynamite airs on Wednesday nights, but we have already seen, if a big NBA game needs to air on a Wednesday, then AEW will be moved on TNT to later in the night or another night. That is happening next month because of the NBA Playoffs.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer, Meltzer reports that the final AEW Dynamite in May will air on Friday, May 28th. This show is actually the Double or Nothing go-home show and will be the night before Double or Nothing on May 29th. With Dynamite airing on Friday, this will be going up against Smackdown on FOX and the first time AEW goes up against a main roster WWE show.

Meltzer goes on to report goes on that AEW will film four hours of content that night with the two-hour Dynamite and two hours of AEW Dark before Dynamite goes live.
