Backstage WWE News & Notes, Producer Reassigned, RAW Underground & More

Multiple backstage notes within WWE.

As the year winds down that mean changes could be coming within WWE. We have heard that there has been some backstage news with producers, former RAW Underground talent, and more.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that Shane Helms has returned to WWE as a backstage producer as he was working at RAW last night. Helms was furloughed earlier this year when WWE made cuts back in April. In other producer news, it was also reported that Sonjay Dutter is now working full-time on the NXT brand.

In other production news, regarding Drew McIntyre’s new entrance that is said to be all Vince McMahon. Johnson reports that Vince has been completely hands-on with McIntyre’s new entrance with the sword. It was said that Vince has spent “a lot of time” blocking out exactly how he wanted the sword handled and used to set up McIntyre’s pyro.

The report also goes on to state that former RAW Underground talent that was drafted to RAW in the draft as in Dabba-Kato and Aruto Ruas has been at the show backstage every week. It was stated that the feeling is they still need more seasoning before they can be considered full-fledged RAW performers.
