Backstage Update On The Status Of Bianca Belair & Sasha Banks For SummerSlam

What is up with “The Boss” & “The EST”?

Last Friday night on Smackdown we saw a contract signing between Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks. Then the next night at the WWE live event it was announced that Belair and Banks were not able to appear due to “unforeseen circumstances.” That was even with the two being seen by the fans arriving at the arena earlier in the day. Then the next night the same this was announced regarding Belair and Banks with no real explanation. Now we have an update and their status for SummerSlam.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that as of right now both women are “cleared” to compete at SummerSlam. The two will also be at Smackdown the night before as well. No word was given as far as what led to them being pulled from both shows this past weekend.

As of right now, WWE nor neither women have commented on this and the match was still being advertised as normal. If we hear anything else with Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
