Backstage News On WWE Possibly Looking To Bring Aleister Black Back

Could the man with the dark father already be coming back to WWE?

Back on June 2nd, we got the news that WWE has released six main roster superstars. One of those names released was Aleister Black and this is one that shocked everyone seeing how the week before they started a program between himself and Big E. Now it looks like some are pushing for him to get brought back into the company.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Johnson reports that in certain corners of WWE there have been talks that Black’s release may have come prematurely and there is not a push by some for officials to bring him back. The report goes on to state that some feel that Black was “cut too soon” and was more the victim of broken promises and the start-stop creative process, more than anything he did on his own.

At this time it is unclear if Black coming back to WWE is even an option as he is currently under a 90-day no-compete that is up on August 30th. We already know Black has been booked for The Big Event in November, yet WWE actually had a plan for Black at the time of his release. Whether that was a short-term or long-term plan, they have things in place for the former NXT Champion.
