Backstage News On Randy Orton’s Current Status

July 23, 2021 302 By Tim Jarrell

Randy Orton has been missing for a month now.

We have not seen Randy Orton on WWE television since June 21st where he lost a match to John Morrison. The next week Orton was scheduled for a Money in the Bank Ladder Match qualifier and it was pulled from the match. WWE stated it was due to “circumstances out of their control” and every time Riddle keeps mentioning Orton, he looks to the sky like he has passed on. Now we have a little info on Orton’s absence.

According to a new post by Fightful, they state that Orton’s current status in WWE has been listed recently as “disabled/inactive” during this period. The report also continues on stating that the hope is that Orton will be back by the August 2nd edition of Monday Night RAW. That would not be next week’s show, but the week following that.

The report closes by stating that WWE does currently have creative plans for both Orton and Riddle through SummerSlam at the end of August. They say unforeseen circumstances of Orton’s absence required an audible be called.

If we do hear anything else on Randy Orton’s status, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
