Backstage New Regarding WWE’s Reaction To The AEW Blood & Guts Match

Some in WWE felt Blood & Guts was a regression.

Last week All Elite Wrestling ran the Blood & Guts match for the first time, WarGames but they couldn’t use the name. Within AEW it was said that everyone felt that the match itself was great and went off better than expected. People in WWE did not feel the same.

According to a new report from PWInsider, the report states that WWE officials “hated” the inaugural Blood & Guts match. The report stated that one person in WWE told them that they felt the match “set the business back 30 years.”

Now this was was officials thought of the match, yet the report stated that many wrestlers in WWE actually loved the match itself.

It was also reported that the match itself had far more blood than was originally planned to be had in the match last Wednesday.
