Asuka Basically Debunks Reports That She Is Cleared To Compete

Since before the Royal Rumble, there have been a number of reports stating that Asuka has been cleared to get back into the ring. She has not had a match since last year’s Money In The Bank and we know she had shoulder surgery since then. Yet Asuka it looks like Asuka has debunked the rumors that she is cleared to compete.
A Twitter account TheRingsideRoster.com sent out a tweet that stated “Great news! WWE has medically cleared Asuka to return to the ring. She’s expected to make her return shortly, but it’s unknown at this time if she’ll be part of WrestleMania 38. If not a return on the RAW after the biggest show of the year seems likely.”Β
Asuka herself responded to that tweet simply saying “Am I medically cleared?” Basically making it seems like this is news to her.

Asuka also sent out a tweet asking about the percentage of news rumors actually being correct.

With all of this, this could be Asuka basically saying that she may not have been medically cleared to compete yet but doesn’t want to just come out and say that.
