Most may say that Antonio Inoki is the greatest professional wrestler in Japanese pro wrestling history. Unfortunately, it is being reported by Yahoo Japan that Inoki has passed away at the age of 79. The report states that Inoki passed away at his home on October 1st.

As stated many will say that Inoki is the greatest and most influential wrestler ever in Japan. Inoki created New Japan Pro Wrestling in 1972. One of the most notable things from his career is when he fought Muhammad Ali. Inoki always once won the WWE Championship even though it is technically not a recognized reign and is also a member of the WWE Hall of Fame.
