Another Title Match Announced For This Week’s NXT

Could one man’s luck change this week?

Last week we saw a major shocker on NXT when Leon Ruff defeated Johnny Gargano to become the NXT North American Champion. Gargano was on a tear after trying to get William Regal to reverse the decision and award him the title back.

This week Gargano will somewhat get what he wants. Regal will not just award him the title back, but an opportunity to win the title back. WWE has announced that Johnny Gargano will challenge Leon Ruff for the North American Title.

Leon Ruff shocked the world and Johnny Gargano last week. Can he catch lightning in a bottle again and hold on to the NXT North American Championship?

Ruff will defend his newly won title against Gargano tomorrow night on NXT.

Despite admittedly rigging his own “Wheel of Challengers” to determine his opponent, Johnny Wrestling was unable to end his championship curse as Ruff pulled off one of the biggest upsets in the history of the black-and-gold brand.

After pleading his case, Gargano gets his chance to regain the championship gold. Will he become a three-time champion, or does Ruff simply have Gargano’s number?

Also announced for NXT is an NXT Women’s Title match with Io Shirai defending the title against Rhea Ripley. The NXT Champion Finn Balor will also be on the show to address the future of the NXT Championship.
