Another Title Match Announced For SummerSlam, Updated Card

Bayley’s SummerSlam challenger has been determined.

Tonight on Smackdown a triple brand battle royal took place. The winner would advance to SummerSlam to challenge Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Women from RAW, NXT, and Smackdown were in this match, even a surprise no one saw coming.

As Bayley and Sasha Banks were introducing the women in the battle royal they were taken aback when Asuka would make her way down to the ring. Asuka defeated Bayley this past Monday on RAW to earn a RAW Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam against Sasha Banks.

As the match went on Asuka and Shayna Baszler were the final two. In the end, Asuka was thrown over the top rope but landed on the apron. Baszler then put Asuka in a sleeper hold only to be pulled over the top rope and eliminated ending the match. Now, Asuka has two matches at SummerSlam. One against Sasha Banks for the RAW Women’s Championship and another against Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
