Another NXT Contract Reportedly Coming Up Soon

It looks like free agency could grow more soon.

We learned over the weekend that Adam Cole could be a free agent after SummerSlam/TakeOver weekend. It was said that Cole’s contract was actually up around Great American Bash and he agreed to a short extension to finish the Kyle O’Reilly program. Now it looks like another NXT Superstar’s contract could be up around the same time.

According to a new report from Fightful, they report that Pete Dunne’s contract could be up “after SummerSlam weekend” similar to Cole’s. Fightful was not given any additional details on Dunne’s contract coming up. The report also states that they do not know if like Cole, if Dunne’s contract already came up and he agreed to stay around for a little longer as well before making a decision.

After this report came out we reached out to a source who told us that Dunne and Cole may not be the only NXT Superstars with contracts that could be coming up soon.
