Tonight the TIme Splitters team together for the first time in WWE.

Tonight the NXT brand ran a live event in Pittsburgh and the crowd was treated with a pretty cool surprise in the opening match as they were graced with the Time Splitters, Kushida and Alex Shelley. This match was actually only the second time ever Shelley has worked a match for WWE. His other match took place on the June 12, 2005 edition of WWE Heat were he lost to Simon Dean.

The two worked the opening match of the show against the Forgotten Sons’ Steve Cutler and Jaxson Ryker. The two picked up the victory as this served as a little bit of a warm-up before their Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Match this Wednesday on NXT. The duo will take on former NXT UK Tag Team Champions The Grizzled Young Veterans.
