AEW Wrestler To Undergo a Potential Character Change

Face turn coming for AEW wrestler.

In pro wrestling, we see a lot of changes to a wrestler’s character. The biggest change is going from bay face to heel or from heel to babyface. In AEW we see this more often and it looks like one heel in AEW is not being portrayed as a babyface.

According to a new report from Fightful, they report that it looks as if Kris Statlander is now a babyface coming off of this week’s AEW Collision tapings. At the Collision tapings on Thursday night there was an angle that seemingly placed Kris Statlander as the next in line to face Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship.

Fightful noted that when they asked about Statlander being associated with Stokeyley Hathaway on TV, that seems to be no more as of this week. We did see Stokley on Dynamite backstage watching the Private Party match.

Finally, the report notes that the reason we have not seen Kris Statlander on TV since All Out is because she has been dealing with a minor injury. Obviously, since she worked Collision on Thursday she has been cleared to return to the ring since then.

If we do hear anything more on the Kris Statlander face turn, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
