AEW Wrestler Possibly Injured In Match Before Dynamite
April 6, 2022The ref threw up the “X” during Dark Elevation.
Tonight AEW is in Boston and like they do every week, before Dynamite they film matches for AEW Dark Elevation. Unfortunately, during tonight’s takings, it looks as if one AEW wrestler suffered a possible knee injury.
In a match for AEW Dark Elevation, it was Leyla Hirsch taking on Christina Marie. During the match at one point, the right knee of Hirsch buckled as it was stated she was attempting to land either a backflip or Moonsult out of the corner. It was noted that she immediately went down and grabbed her right knee. The referee went to check on her and then threw up the dreaded “X” to inform those in the back that someone is hurt.
AEW’s medical staff then came out to check on Hirsch and it was stated that she had to be assisted to the back. Hirsch was unable to put any weight on the right leg as again it was said by those in the building that she may have blown out her knee.

No one in AEW has commented on the potential injury nor has Hirsch stated anything either. If we do hear anything else regarding Hirsch suffering a possible knee injury, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
I enjoyed reading this. Itβs clear and well-written.
