AEW Reportedly Not Changing The TNT Title After Move To TBS

The TNT Title will remain the TNT Title.

Yesterday it was announced that AEW will be getting a new Friday night show called Rampage. It was also announced that all AEW content will move from TNT to TBS in 2022 and everyone has asked what that means for the TNT Title.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Meltzer states that even with the move from TNT to TBS that plan is still for the TNT Championship to remain as it is. He noted that things could change, but from what he has been told the plan is not for that to happen.

We are actually coming up on the one-year anniversary of the TNT Championship. Cody defeated Lance Archer to become the first champion. Now one year later at Double or Nothing, Lance Archer will be challenging Miro for the TNT Title.
