Story Update:Β

It was told to us here at Pro Wrestling Unlimited by someone with knowledge of the accident that in fact the truck was parked outside of the venue for tonight’s AEW Dynamite with no driver in the truck at the time of the accident.

The driver of the four-door Honda was texting and driving and due to not paying attention crashed their car under the parked AEW Production truck. Nobody was hurt in the accident.

Original Story:

Tonight All Elite Wrestling is in Philadephia for Dynamite. The show starts in a few hours yet there has already been some action outside the venue with one of AEW’s production/ring crew trucks. This afternoon one of their trucks was involved in a scary-looking car accident.

Not much is known as far as what happened today but around 4 pm local time, AEW timekeeper Brook Ramsey posted a photo of a Honda four-door sedan stuck under one of the AEW trucks. When Ramsey posted this photo we had no context other than her caption of “dont text and drive”. Yet other photos have emerged giving a little more context to what may have happened. Brook did also say the driver is fine which is always good to hear.

Twitter user MV3ForPresident posted a few photos and a video of the incident or course after it happened. The short video gives the most context as you see multiple AEW trucks that look to be parked outside of the Liacouras Center where AEW Dynamite is being held tonight. From all the information gathered it seems as if the driver of the Honda may have actually wrecked into a parked 18-wheeler outside of the venue.

If we do hear anything else about a driver in Philly crashing into what seemed to be a parked AEW production truck, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
