AEW Officially Announces Date For The Next Grand Slam

July 15, 2024 Off By Tim Jarrell

AEW is about to hit a Grand Slam.

For the last three years, All Elite Wrestling has run the Grand Slam event from Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York. Reports came out recently about when the show will take place and today they made that official announcement.

AEW announced today that on Wednesday, September 25 they will be returning to Arthur Ashe Stadium for a Dynamite & Collision taping. Of course, Dynamite will be live and Collision will be pre-taped. Tickets for the show go on sale on July 18 with pre-sale beginning tomorrow at 10 am ET.

This will mark the fourth year that AEW runs a show in Arthur Ashe Stadium and the one big question will be how many tickets are sold to the show. The first year they ran here they reportedly had 20,000 people in attendance in 2021. In 2022 that dropped by 7,000 tickets to 13,000 and down another 2,000 to 11,000 in 2023. Hopefully, AEW could either keep the same as last year or increase the ticket sales. What would not be good is if this year potentially drops under 10,000 tickets sold in this 20,000-plus-seat tennis stadium.
