AEW wants to go down under.

All Elite Wrestling has been around for five years now and has done many things a lot of people thought they wouldn’t. They have a national television deal with Warner. They have run many sold out shows in major arenas across the country and even ran a show in Wembley Stadium with 80,000 people in attendance. They are running Wembley again this year and it looks like next year they are looking for another stadium show.

According to a new report from SportingNews, they report that AEW plans to run a stadium show in Australia and plans are well advanced. The word is they have already been scouting venues along Australia’s east coast. Specific stadiums AEW is looking at are Sydney’s Allianz Stadium, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, and Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium. The report also notes that the event is being backed by entertainment company TEG.

As far as when in 2025 this show could be taking place that was not stated in the report. AEW has nothing announced right now for next year so at this point publically the schedule is wide open. We don’t know if the two are linked but in recent weeks, Tony Khan has been teasing the biggest announcement in AEW history is coming and some now think it could be this show from Australia.

If we do hear anything further on AEW possibly running a stadium show in Australia, we will have it here and on the PWUnlimited YouTube Channel.
