March 26, 2024AEW has made another big hire for the company.
We have seen a number of new hires in All Elite Wrestling recently behind the scenes. The company recently hired former WWE senior writer Jennifer Pepperman and now today the company officially confirmed a reported hire from earlier this year.
All Elite Wrestling announced today that they have hired Kosha Irby as the new Chief Operating Officer of the company. Irby will oversee all strategic planning and execution of live events, marketing, finance, human resources, licensing, consumer products, and other major lines of business for the company.
Kosha himself formerly worked for Clemson University, the Memphis Express of the Alliance of American Football, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), and World Wrestling Entertainment.

Regarding the hiring of Irby, Fightful reports that he will take over the job of Rafael Morffi but we may not see much of his impact till after March. Morffi already had the company booked up through March. Irby is said to have a much different approach than Morffi and many within AEw are excited about the moves.
They state that they are told Irby brought a fresh approach to the logistics end, streamlining the locations of events in a method in which was more more efficient.
