AEW Confirms New Signing

AEW Confirms New Signing

January 9, 2020 1 By Tim Jarrell

Tonight an ass boy was signed to AEW.

Last week it was announced that Billy Gunn was going to team with his son Austin Gunn to take on the Lucha Bros for AEW Dark. Even though Austin Gunna actually tweeted a graphic announcing the match it never took place and the Gunns teamed against Shawn Spear and Preston Vance. The match was a complete dark match and did not air on this week’s AEW Dark.

Tonight after the AEW Dynamite tapings, the Gunns teamed again against Peter Avalon and Shawn Spears. During the match the crowd chanted “Ass Boy” at Austin as they picked up the victory. After the match concluded AEW Executive Vice President Cody came out and announced that Austin had officially signed with the company.

Autin Gunn, 25, started wrestling in 2017 and it was reported he had signed with Ring of Honor in July of 2019. He was in the ROH Top Prospects tournament and lost in the finals. Even though it was announced he had signed with ROH it looks like that did not work out as he is now officially with All Elite Wrestling.
