AEW Confirms Match For This Week’s Dynamite

Last week on AEW Dynamite we saw SCU backstage being interviewed when they were interrupted by Sammy Guevara. He said that Santana & Ortiz would take the title from SCU and he also basically told Christopher Daniels he doesn’t have it anymore, he is too old and washed up. Daniels then challenged Guevara to a match and it seemed as if Guevara accepted the challenge.
Later in the night when they ran down the match taking place the next week and match between Christopher Daniels and Sammy Guevara was never announced. Then on social media, the match was not announced there either.
Finally Sunday, Sammy Guevara himself sent out the following Tweet confirming the match with a matching graphic attached to the tweet.

Also announced for next week’s show we will see Cody & Dustin Rhodes taking on The Lucha Bros. Hangman Page and Kenny Omega will face off against Private Party, plus Riho will defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Kris Statlander.
